HIS NAME IS JESUS!

“For God so loved the world, He gave his One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” – John 3:16

Meet Jesus

Jesus Christ is more than a historical figure, a moral teacher, or a religious symbol. He is the Son of God who stepped into humanity to reveal God’s heart and restore what was broken. Jesus lived among us with compassion, authority, and purpose—meeting people where they were, loving the overlooked, and offering hope to the hurting.

{John 1:14 (NIV) “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”}

From the beginning, Jesus’ life pointed to one truth: God desires a personal relationship with humanity. Everywhere He went, Jesus showed what God is like—full of grace, truth, mercy, and love.

{Matthew 9:36 (NIV) “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”}

The Ministry of Jesus

During His earthly ministry, Jesus healed the sick, restored the broken, welcomed the outcast, and preached a message of repentance, forgiveness, and new life. He spoke about the Kingdom of God—not as a distant place, but as a present reality where God reigns in hearts and lives.

Jesus didn’t avoid pain or suffering—He entered into it. He touched lepers, forgave sinners, calmed storms, raised the dead, and challenged religious systems that valued rules over relationship. His ministry was marked by love in action and truth spoken boldly.

Matthew 11:4–5 (NIV)
“The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.”

The Good News

The word Gospel means “good news.” And the good news is this: God loves you deeply and desires to restore what sin has separated.

Sin isn’t just about wrongdoing—it’s about broken relationship. Humanity chose independence from God, and the result was separation, shame, and spiritual death. But God did not leave us there. Instead, He made a way back.

The Gospel is not about what we can do to reach God—it’s about what God has already done to reach us.

Jesus willingly went to the cross to take upon Himself the weight of humanity’s sin. He lived a sinless life, yet chose to suffer and die in our place. The cross was not an accident—it was a rescue mission. On the cross, Jesus paid the debt we could never repay. His death satisfied justice and released mercy, offering forgiveness, freedom, and reconciliation with God to all who believe.

Three days after His crucifixion, Jesus rose from the dead—defeating sin, death, and the grave. The resurrection is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. It proves that Jesus is who He said He was and that His sacrifice was complete.

Because Jesus lives, hope lives. His resurrection offers new life—not just someday, but today. It means healing is possible, forgiveness is available, and eternity with God is secure.
